Hong Kong = Luxe
What better way to see this than a visit to Central and its numerous shopping malls. I love the windows of the Louis Vuitton shop. Always ever so pretty and real attention grabbers. What surprised me when we arrived in Hong Kong was the sheer quantity of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Hermes (just to name a few) stores you find scattered around Hong Kong.
And I assure you, they are far from empty.
People actually queue to get in. Sure, they only allow a few people in at at time, so that each person feels taken care of and attended to. Customers don't feel bustled and having staff on your back hand call is always nice.
Thats what amazes us, the queues at Gucci and LV then 10 minutes later in a completely different setting......dim sum in Causeway Bay.
