Since 2 weeks, our little Mathilde is finally saying her whole name. She could say everyones... but not her own.
She's always called her sister olivia, well oliyia. Olivia used to call herself, Li, then Oli, then Olivia. So I was quite surprised when Mathilde came right out with Olivia! Mathilde used to call herself Ma.
Lately she is trying a lot harder to articulate and try to say the word as best she can and she's doing a really good job!! Her face lights up when she realises that she said it properly and keeps on repeating over and over.
Yesterday she said 'mama, i go doctorrrr, i go doctorrr chow ' (thats her paed). It was just so funny and I was completely amazed at how she knew her drs name. Come to think of it, thats not a good thing for her or our bank balance!!!
So now when we ask her 'whats your name?' or 'comment tu t'appelle?' , she'll answer 'Mathilde' .
And never has her name sounded sweeter!!!
